Our Fall Sunday Fun Day

Harris Family Sunday Fun Day

We had a beautiful Sunday. We started our day with breakfast at our favorite spot, IHOP. I never thought I would like pancakes covered with sweet strawberries and whipped cream, but my taste buds wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s our daughters favorite too. On the way home, we made a pit stop at Lowes to pick up a few items. Most of the time, I shop at Walmart because I can get my groceries and every other item that I need. But, lately Lowes has become our store of choice. It’s closer to our house and the prices are not as bad as some people say they are. Some things are actually cheaper. However, what gets our repeated business is the wonderful experience we have every time we shop there.

No matter how young or old you are, there is something for you. Our daughter loves pushing the mini shopping cart and filling it with random things. For some reason, she has not figured out that she needs to place the items she intends to buy into the basket. But I guess carrying them works too. Got to make sure they make it to register right?

We love the fresh options they offer, and the fact that some are local. We own a vegan, home bakery and so we are always looking out for natural ingredients. Well, that sums up our day out as a family. Now, it’s time to watch football as we prepare for the work week. We hope your Sunday was just as chill.

Before we go, we would love to give a few shout-outs to those who helped us today:

-Thank you to the hostess and waitress from making sure we had an amazing breakfast as a family. Hopefully, our budget will allow us to return soon!

Sad to go, but we shall return!

-Thank you to the nice lady that helped us get to where we needed to be, when we were clearly lost. I think we had entered an employee break room.

-Thank you to the cashier at Suber Lane for interacting with our daughter. I think she loves your store just as much as we do.

-Thank you to the guy who bagged our groceries for providing us with the pamphlet that explained the Kaboodle program.

-Thank you to the family who raced around the store with their two kids in the cool looking cart. It was nice to know that we were not the only family having fun.
